The keychain Game Boy is presently a genuine crowdfunded device, and I need one

Gambar
Over a year prior, I composed this post about a minor DIY Game Boy that could fit on a keychain, saying that I might want to get it. It required some investment, yet here we are currently with the PocketSprite, a cleaned, business rendition of the first keychain Game Boy. This is a coordinated effort between the first's maker, Jeroen Domburg (Sprite_tm), and manufactuer Steve K. The PocketSprite is searching for financing over at crowdfunding site Crowd Supply. The PocketSprite resembles a more cleaned form of the first, threw together form that Domburg made, however inside it is by all accounts pressing similar specs: an OLED screen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a rechargeable battery, and an implicit speaker. It's controlled off a double center, 240 MHz ESP32 chip and 520 KB of RAM. Those make this tremendously more effective than the first Game Boy, with its 4.19 MHz processor and 16 KB of memory. With worked in emulators, the PocketSprite can play Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Sega Mast...

Angry bird football lastest updates

Gambar
'Angry Birds Evolution' Includes NFL Branding for Super Bowl LII The Angry Birds franchise is one of the biggest mobile games of all time, and the Super Bowl is the biggest individual sporting event in the world, so it makes sense that the two would join forces for the newest 'Angry Birds Evolution' update. The game features new hats themed after NFL teams as well as NFL characters to face down in the strategy game. The NFL update on Angry Birds Evolution changes aspects of the game to make them more similar to football, such as a scoreboard and a downs system instead of the typical number of turns that the game typically uses as its core mechanic. Considering that Super Bowl LII is less than two weeks away, this is the perfect time for Angry Birds to collaborate with the NFL: when excitement is at its acme.

How to Update Your Graphics Drivers for Maximum Gaming Performance

Gambar
A graphics driver is the software that allow your operating system and programs to use your computer’s graphics hardware. If you play PC games, you should keep your computer’s graphics drivers updated to get the best performance out of your hardware. We have previously advised you to not compulsively update your drivers, and we stand by that. Most hardware drivers that come with your computer—or through Windows Update—are fine. However, we do make an exception for graphics drivers for your NVIDIA, AMD, or even Intel graphics hardware. Those, we recommend you keep up-to-date, especially if you’re a gamer. Why You Should Update Your Graphics Drivers Updates to your computer’s motherboard, sound card, and network drivers don’t generally give speed improvements. They do often fix rare bugs, but to be honest, they just as often introduce new bugs. So, if things are working okay, it’s typically not worth it to bother. However, this is not the case with updated drivers for your graphics car...

How to Overclock Your Graphics Card for Better Gaming Performance

Gambar
If you want a little extra oomph out of your PC’s graphics card without spending tons of cash on a new model, overclocking the GPU is a surprisingly simple way to go about it. And it has indeed become simple, on Windows-based PCs at least—while the process is time consuming, it doesn’t require any particular knowledge or advanced skills. Here’s how you go about it. Warning: while the risk is pretty low, there’s still a chance that overclocking your GPU could damage it or other components in your computer. Proceed with caution, and don’t sue us if you tower catches fire or steals your car. What You’ll Need Before we get started, you’ll need a couple things: A Windows-based PC: It’s possible to overclock GPUs on macOS and Linux, but Windows is still the home of PC gaming by a huge margin, so that’s what we’re going to use in this guide. A discrete graphics card: PCI-Express-based desktop cards are still the primary means of playing high-end PC games. This guide should work for AMD and NV...

Nintendo on Thursday revealed its upcoming Switch games for 2018 via a Nintendo Direct Mini video. Riding high after its major comeback last year, Nintendo announced a number of game titles that will be released in the first half of the year, including Mario Tennis Aces, Dark Souls, Donkey Kong Country and Kirby Star Allies, as well as a new mode for the hit Super Mario Odyssey. The Switch, which debuted worldwide early last year, has been Nintendo's fastest-selling console system of all time. Nearly 5 million units were sold in the United States in 2017. Nintendo last month revised its sales estimates for first year targets from 10 million to 14 million. One of the Switch's main attractions is that it is a compact system that can be played at home or on the go. Importantly, the system launched with a strong lineup of titles. The releases last fall of Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, further spurred demand. For Nintendo Faithful This week's...

Shoebox-Sized Gaming Computers

Digital Storm's 'Project Spark' is a Small-Sized PC Powerhouse Unveiled at CES 2018, Digital Storm's 'Project Spark' brings together an impressive gaming desktop at a staggeringly small size. Measuring in at 6 inches deep, 4 inches wide and 12 inches tall, this boutique PC is perhaps the smallest desktop that's commercially produced. Despite being a quarter of the size of most gaming PC's, Project Storm boasts an impressive internal build that is also fully upgradable. This innovation marks a particularly interesting step in PC gaming as the only compact alternative to date is a gaming laptop, which in many cases pales in comparison to a full desktop PC. Project Spark comes equipped with an impressive array of internal parts. The internals featured in the CES display device include an Intel Core-i7 8700K, an Nvidia GTX 1080, 32GB of memory, three 500GB Samsung SSD's, a 2TB Samsung SSD and what seems to be a custom liquid-cooling system. The PC is a...

Hyperkin plans to release a new (old) Game Boy in 2018

Gambar
Ultra Game Boy brings slim aluminum case, backlight for under $100. There's been plenty of nostalgic attention being paid to classic console hardware updates in recent years, from Nintendo's official plug-and-play Classic Edition consoles to third-party clone consoles. But for all the focus on the TV-based game consoles of yesteryear, we haven't seen much corporate interest in recreating the portable system of the past. That now seems set to change, as Gizmodo reports from CES on the Ultra Game Boy, an aluminum-cased portable console that resembles the slimmer Game Boy Pocket more than the bulky 1989 original system. The case's authenticity extends down to a cartridge slot that supports classic games and those familiar volume and contrast knobs on the edge, along with a new third knob letting players adjust the color of the system's backlight. Gizmodo reports a six-hour battery life with USB-C charging for the prototype, which also sports stereo speakers and dual au...

Mobile-Streaming Football Games

Gambar
NBC is Set to Stream 'Sunday Night Football' on Smartphones As people are taking in entertainment through different channels than they had in the past, the sports world has been among the slowest to adapt, but the recent announcement from NBC and 'Sunday Night Football' is a step in the right direction. The American broadcasting giant is officially slated to offer streaming of the NFL's marquee matchup on mobile devices, allowing those with NBC's 'TV Everywhere' to view games while on the go. The Sunday Night Football announcement comes on the tail of a major shift in the NFL. The dominant pro sports league recently ended its exclusive streaming deal with Verizon, allowing other companies, NBC included, to offer different packages. Considering the sheer viewership that Sunday Night Football brings in, such a move is a savvy one.

Kodi comes full circle, now available for Xbox One

Gambar
Kodi started life as XBMC (XBox Media Center) and was designed to run on Microsoft's original Xbox. The software has since then enjoyed a meteoric -- and somewhat controversial -- rise, and is now available for most platforms, including Windows, Mac, Android, and Linux. One platform it was missing from was the latest generation of Microsoft's console, the Xbox One, but that oversight has finally been corrected. You can, from today, install Kodi on both that console and the Xbox One S. Although there is a catch. Kodi for Xbox One is currently available as a v18 Alpha release and is being rolled out to users on a geographic basis. That means it may be available to you right now, or you might have to wait a short time until it reaches your part of the world. Search for 'Kodi' in the Microsoft Store on your Xbox, and if it's there you will be able to install it as you can any other app. Kodi for Xbox One is a UWP app, and has the same features found in the Windows 10 ve...

How to Remove Ads on the PlayStation 4’s Home Screen

Gambar
If you’re a PlayStation 4 owner of any variety (regular, Slim, or Pro), you probably woke up today to an annoying Destiny 2 ad right there in your recent games bar. That’s pretty obnoxious, so here’s how to prevent it from happening again in the future. From the PS4’s action bar, find the Settings icon. It’s a little suitcase-looking thing. From there, scroll down to System. Next, choose Automatic Downloads. Disable the “Featured Content” option, which is really just a nice way of saying “ads.” Now, this won’t remove the existing Destiny 2 ad, but it should prevent crap like this from showing up in the future. If you want to delete the ad that’s currently on your home screen, highlight it, then press the Options button on your controller. Then choose Delete to remove it. Enjoy your cleaner home page!
